Alexandre Joseph Sosnowski said Sacha Sosno, was born in 1937 in Marseille. His father is from Estonia and mother Nice. He spent his early childhood in Riga, Latvia. In 1948, in Nice, he met the painter Henri Matisse.
In 1956, he met Yves Klein and Arman. Contact with "monochrome" Yves Klein made him burn the majority of his paintings "Abstract" at the time.
In 1958, he enrolled at Sciences Po and at the School of Oriental Languages in Paris where he also intermittently following the course of the Faculty of Law and the Institute filmography at the Sorbonne.
In 1961, back in Nice, he created the "South-Communications" magazine and it states, in the June issue, the first theory of the "Ecole de Nice". This is the beginning of his friendship with Raysse.
It carries out various programs on cinema for Tele Monte Carlo.
He did his military service in Toulouse in 1962, he finished as an archaeologist after the discovery of the largest French deposit Gallo-Roman tombs, in collaboration with the CNRS.
